It was back in 2018 when Smucker’s bought the brand, so there’s really no point in using this food anymore. Smucker’s makes Meow Mix, 9Lives, and Natural Balance — all high in carbohydrates. There have even been reports of dog DNA found in their dog food and cases of organ failure caused by excess vitamin D toxicity. Honestly, it should be taken off the market.
